Spiced cottage cheese with zesty ginger, onion, green chile pepper, and creamy wilted spinach.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (16 ounce) package cottage cheese
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 0.125 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 0.25 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger root
  • 1 green chile pepper, chopped
  • 2 pounds spinach leaves, cut into 2-inch pieces
Instructions:
  • Combine creamy cottage cheese with the aromatic flavors of garlic, cardamom, and cloves, ensuring all ingredients are well incorporated. Chill the mixture in the fridge until it's time to enjoy.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add onion, ginger, green chile pepper, and 2 cloves of garlic. Sauté until onion is soft and translucent, around 5 minutes. Add spinach and cook until wilted. Remove any excess liquid and serve over seasoned cottage cheese.
