Use Bisquick® mix for a quick, no-roll pie crust. Top with a cozy blend of oats and cinnamon for a homey touch.
Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 3 tablespoons boiling water
  • 1 can (21 oz) apple pie filling
  • 3/4 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 3/4 cup Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1/2 cup quick-cooking or old-fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup cold butter
  • Fresh or frozen (thawed and dried completely with paper towel) cranberries
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F. Combine 1 1/2 cups Bisquick mix and 1/4 cup softened butter in a medium bowl. Use a fork to mix them until crumbly. Add boiling water and stir vigorously with the fork until a dough forms. Shape the dough into a ball and press it firmly into an ungreased 9-inch glass pie plate, making sure to cover the bottom and sides evenly. Finally, flute the edges for a professional touch.
  • Combine the Filling ingredients in a medium bowl, then evenly spoon the mixture into the crust.
  • Combine 3/4 cup Bisquick mix, oats, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a small bowl. Add 1/4 cup cold butter and mix until crumbly. Sprinkle over the filling.
  • Bake for 15 minutes. Cover the pie with foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool for 2-3 hours before serving. Garnish with cranberries before serving.
