Indulgent French toast with a delicious cream cheese topping, perfect for breakfast gatherings.
Ingredients:
  • 6 eggs
  • 1.5 cups skim milk
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 (1 pound) loaf French bread, cut into 3/4 inch slices
  • 0.25 cup butter
  • 1 (8 ounce) package fat-free cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons fat-free sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons frozen whipped topping, thawed
Instructions:
  • Combine eggs, milk, 2 tablespoons of sugar, and cinnamon in a bowl. Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet over medium heat. Dip bread slices in the egg mixture, then cook in the skillet until golden on each side for about 4 minutes. Repeat with remaining slices, melting 1 tablespoon of butter before each batch.
  • Combine cream cheese, 2 tablespoons of sugar, sour cream, and whipped topping in an electric mixer or blender until smooth and firm while the toast is cooking.
  • Serve warm French toast on plates and generously spoon frosting over the top.
