Fall Moscow Mule: Apple cider, lemon juice, ginger, and vodka create a refreshing twist on a classic cocktail.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 0.5 cup chopped fresh ginger
  • 0.25 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1.5 cups sparkling apple cider
  • 1 cup vodka (such as Tito's®)
  • 1 medium lime, cut into 4 wedges
  • 4 cups ice, or as needed
Instructions:
  • In a small saucepan, mix together sugar, water, and ginger over medium-high heat. Simmer the mixture and stir continuously until the sugar dissolves. Take off the heat, strain the liquid into a pitcher to remove solids. Allow it to cool completely for 30 to 45 minutes.
  • Transfer 1/4 cup of chilled ginger syrup into a pitcher, setting aside the rest for later. Mix in lime juice, sparkling cider, and vodka. Divide the mixture among 4 ice-filled glasses and decorate with lime wedges.
