Sweet and spicy Instant Pot ribs, tender and irresistible, ready in under an hour for a perfect family dinner.
Ingredients:
  • 0.25 cup chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons ground black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 2 racks baby back ribs, membranes removed
  • 1 cup water
  • 0.5 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 (12 ounce) bottle barbeque sauce (such as Sweet Baby Ray's®)
Instructions:
  • Prepare all your ingredients.
  • Combine brown sugar, chili powder, parsley, salt, garlic powder, pepper, cumin, onion powder, and paprika in a bowl, using a fork to ensure a smooth mixture with no clumps.
  • Massage the flavorful spice blend onto both sides of the ribs.
  • Insert a steam rack in your multi-functional pressure cooker like an Instant Pot and add water along with cider vinegar into the base.
  • Carefully nestle the ribs around the pot's edges, ensuring they are fully submerged in liquid. Secure the lid tightly, then set the pressure to high following the manufacturer's guidelines. Cook under pressure for 25 minutes, allowing 10 to 15 minutes for pressure buildup.
  • Carefully quick-release the pressure following the manufacturer's guidance for about 5 minutes. Then, unlock and remove the lid.
  • Preheat the broiler with the oven rack positioned 6 inches from the heat. Line a baking sheet with foil, then place the ribs on top and smother them with barbecue sauce.
  • Broil ribs until the sauce is bubbling, approximately 3 minutes.
  • Indulge in the delightful dish you've created!
