Sautéed fava beans with onions, garlic, and creamy tahini sauce, stuffed in a pita with a dollop of yogurt for a delicious meal.
Ingredients:
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 (15 ounce) can fava beans, drained
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 0.33333334326744 cup tahini
  • 5 cloves garlic, crushed
  • salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • In a small to medium saucepan, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sauté onion in the oil until softened.
  • Combine the beans and lemon juice, followed by the tahini until thickened. Mix in the garlic and cook briefly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
