Spooky Fire Ants on a Log: Spread cream cheese and tomato pesto on celery, top with red bell pepper slices. Ready in 20 mins!
Ingredients:
  • 6 oz (from 8-oz package) cream cheese, softened, cut into cubes
  • 2 tablespoons refrigerated sun-dried tomato pesto
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne)
  • 16 stalks celery, cut into 2 1/2-inch pieces
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped red bell pepper
Instructions:
  • Combine cream cheese, pesto, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, and red pepper in a food processor. Blend until creamy and smooth.
  • - Transfer the mixture into a quart-size resealable plastic bag and seal it shut. - Cut a small corner of the bag and twist the bag above the cheese mixture. Squeeze the bag to pipe the cheese mixture into the celery pieces. - Arrange bell pepper pieces on top to resemble ants. - Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to enjoy.
