Easy 5-ingredient Yorkshire pudding recipe, ready in under 10 minutes. Perfect for beginners!
Ingredients:
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour, or as needed
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 1 pinch salt and ground black pepper
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Divide oil evenly among 6 cups of a Yorkshire pudding tin, then place in the oven to heat.
  • Prepare 3 identical glasses. Crack eggs into the first glass. Pour milk into the second glass until it reaches the same level as the eggs. Measure and add 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons flour to the third glass to align with the eggs and milk. Combine the eggs, milk, and flour in a mixing bowl and whisk thoroughly. Season the batter with salt and pepper.
  • Carefully remove the sizzling hot tin from the oven, swiftly pour the batter into the cups, and promptly return the tin to the oven.
  • Bake puddings until they rise nicely in the preheated oven, for 4 to 5 minutes.
