Frangelico chocolate sauce

Irresistibly decadent chocolate sauce heightened with a hint of Frangelico.
Ingredients:
  • 300ml thickened cream
  • 180g good-quality dark cooking chocolate, chopped
  • 55g (1/4 cup, firmly packed) brown sugar
  • 80ml (1/3 cup) Frangelico liqueur
Instructions:
  • In a medium saucepan over low heat, gently melt the chocolate with the cream and sugar, stirring with a metal spoon until smooth, about 8 minutes.
  • Add the liqueur to the mixture and cook while stirring for 2 minutes until fully incorporated. Take it off the heat and serve right away.
