Decadent chocolate pie made with creamy butter, vanilla, and eggs, chilled and topped with whipped cream and nuts.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup butter, room temperature
  • 2 (1 ounce) squares unsweetened baking chocolate, melted and cooled
  • 1 prepared 8 inch pastry shell, baked and cooled
Instructions:
  • Combine butter and sugar in a mixing bowl and beat with an electric mixer until light and well blended. Mix in cooled chocolate and vanilla extract. Add eggs one at a time, beating for 5 minutes after each addition. Spoon the chocolate filling into a cooled, baked pie shell.
  • Chill in the fridge for a minimum of 2 hours before serving.
