Creamy spinach dip baked in crispy French bread for a crowd-pleasing snack.
Ingredients:
  • 300g pkt Brand Mini White French Sticks (2 pack)
  • 60g pizza cheese
  • 20g butter, melted
  • 250g pkt frozen spinach, thawed
  • 250g cream cheese
  • 160g sour cream
  • 1/2 x 40g pkt French onion soup mix
Instructions:
  • Prepare the dip by draining the spinach using a sieve over a bowl and pressing out excess liquid with the back of a spoon. Discard the liquid. In a food processor, combine the spinach with cream cheese, sour cream, and soup mix. Blend until smooth, season to taste, and refrigerate until ready to serve.
  • Preheat the oven to 220C and prepare a baking tray with baking paper.
  • Using a long serrated knife, carefully hollow out the insides of each bread stick half, leaving a 1cm-thick shell.
  • Mix 1 cup dip and pizza cheese in a small bowl. Transfer the dip mixture into a large sealable plastic bag. Cut a corner from the bag and pipe the mixture into the center of each bread half.
  • Connect the two bread halves at the cut ends and arrange them on the prepared tray. Do the same with the remaining bread halves. Mix butter and garlic in a bowl and brush the mixture evenly over the bread. Bake for 8-10 minutes until golden brown. Let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
