Vibrant basil pesto with toasted pine nuts, Pecorino Romano, garlic, and lemon - perfect for pasta or as a zesty dip!
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups packed fresh basil
  • 0.5 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 0.25 cup toasted pine nuts
  • 3 cloves garlic, peeled
  • 1 dash fresh lemon juice
  • 0.5 cup freshly grated Pecorino Romano cheese
  • kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • In a food processor or blender, blend basil, oil, pine nuts, garlic, and lemon juice until smooth. Add Pecorino Romano cheese, salt, and pepper, then stir to combine.
