Delicious peach cake with tender yellow cake, fresh fruit slices, and cinnamon sugar - a perfect summer treat.
Ingredients:
  • 0.75 cup white sugar
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 4 fresh peaches - peeled, pitted, and sliced
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and generously grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  • In a large bowl, cream together 3/4 cup of sugar and butter using an electric mixer until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, ensuring to mix well after each addition. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt, then sift over the creamy mixture. Mix until well combined. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared springform pan.
  • Place the peaches gently into the batter. In a small bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of sugar and cinnamon thoroughly, then sprinkle this delicious mixture over the peaches and batter.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 40 to 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let it cool for 5 minutes on a wire rack, then gently loosen the edges with a table knife. Carefully transfer the cake to a serving plate or wire rack to cool completely.
