Crispy golden-brown fried avocado slices - irresistible!
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups vegetable oil (for frying)
  • 2 tablespoons salt-free herb seasoning blend
  • 1 pinch ground cumin
  • 1 avocado - peeled, pitted and sliced
  • 1 egg, beaten
Instructions:
  • Heat oil in a spacious skillet or deep-fryer until it reaches 365 degrees F (180 degrees C).
  • Combine flour, seasoning blend, and cumin in a small bowl. Place beaten egg in a shallow dish. Dip avocado slices in egg, then coat with flour mixture. Repeat for a thicker batter, if desired.
  • Sear the breaded avocado slices in sizzling oil until they turn golden brown, flipping once. Drain on paper towels and serve piping hot.
