Crispy fried Boursin cheese bites with a savory, creamy filling.
Ingredients:
  • Canola oil, for frying
  • 1 cup (about 4 1/4 oz.) all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup Italian-seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 2 (4.23-oz.) packages Boursin Garlic and Fine Herbs Cheese Bites
Instructions:
  • In a large Dutch oven, heat oil over medium heat until it reaches 350 degrees F (180 degrees C), with a depth of 2 inches.
  • Prepare three wide shallow bowls. Fill one with flour, another with beaten eggs, and the last one with breadcrumbs while the oil heats up.
  • Coat cheese in flour, egg, and breadcrumbs, then chill in the freezer for 15 minutes.
  • Fry the boursin bites in batches until golden, for about 30 seconds to 1 minute. Drain on a paper towel-lined baking sheet. Repeat with the remaining bites and transfer to a platter. Serve immediately.
