Elevate classic cabbage and noodles with generous bacon and a kick of hot sauce.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (8 ounce) package kluski noodles
  • 1 pound bacon, chopped
  • 1 head cabbage, chopped
  • 1 dash hot pepper sauce (such as Frank's RedHot®), or to taste
Instructions:
  • Fill a large pot with lightly salted water and bring it to a vigorous boil. Add kluski noodles and cook uncovered until they are tender yet slightly firm, stirring occasionally, for 7 to 10 minutes. Drain thoroughly and set aside.
  • In a large, deep skillet, cook chopped bacon over medium-high heat, stirring frequently, until beautifully browned, for 5 to 8 minutes.
  • Saute the cabbage and onions in the bacon drippings until the cabbage is soft and tender, approximately 10 minutes.
  • Fold the cooked kluski noodles into the cabbage mixture with care, then add a dash of hot sauce for extra flavor.
