Indulge in crunchy fried chicken tenders with a zesty horseradish dipping sauce.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 2 cups Italian-style seasoned bread crumbs
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 24 chicken tenderloins
  • 2 quarts oil for frying
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 0.5 cup sour cream
  • 3 tablespoons prepared horseradish
  • 3 tablespoons prepared mustard
  • 1 dash Worcestershire sauce
Instructions:
  • Set up your breading station: Spread flour in one shallow bowl, combine eggs and water in another, and mix bread crumbs with ground black pepper and cayenne pepper in a third bowl.
  • Dredge chicken in flour, dip in beaten eggs, then coat with bread crumbs individually before setting aside.
  • Preheat oil in a deep fryer to 375°F (190°C) until it shimmers.
  • Sear chicken in small batches until perfectly golden, approximately 6 to 8 minutes. Transfer chicken to paper towels or a wire rack to drain.
  • Prepare the dipping sauce by blending mayonnaise, sour cream, horseradish, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce in a small bowl until smooth. Serve alongside the chicken for a delightful pairing.
