Delicious golden fried dandelions - crispy and flavorful springtime indulgence.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons seasoned salt
  • 1 tablespoon ground black pepper
  • 4 eggs
  • 80 unopened dandelion blossoms, stems removed
  • 0.5 cup butter
Instructions:
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, seasoned salt, and pepper until well mixed; set aside. In another mixing bowl, beat eggs and coat dandelion blossoms thoroughly.
  • Heat butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Dip half of the dandelions in egg mixture, shaking off excess. Coat in flour, shake off excess, and fry in butter until golden brown, about 5 minutes. Drain on paper towel. Repeat with remaining dandelions.
