Fried Greek cheese with honey, oregano and walnuts

Indulge in irresistible, cheesy goodness enveloped in a decadent honey, lemon, and walnut drizzle.
Ingredients:
  • 200g packet saganaki cheese
  • 2 tsp plain flour
  • 36.40 gm extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 sprigs fresh oregano
  • 1 sprig fresh rosemary
  • 18.40 gm chopped walnuts, toasted
  • 21.00 gm lemon juice
  • 57.20 gm honey
  • Crusty bread, to serve
  • Lemon wedges, to serve
Instructions:
  • Divide cheese into 2 portions and coat both pieces with flour.
  • In a medium frying pan over medium-high heat, heat oil. Add oregano and rosemary, and cook for 30 seconds. Then add cheese and cook for 2 minutes on each side until golden and soft.
  • Take the pot off the heat, then mix in walnuts, lemon juice, and honey. Serve right away with crusty bread and lemon wedges.
