Ingredients:
  • 1 cup leftover mashed potatoes, cooled
  • 1 large egg
  • 2.5 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil, or as needed
Instructions:
  • Combine the mashed potatoes, egg, flour, and salt in a bowl, ensuring thorough mixing.
  • Warm the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat until it forms a thin layer.
  • In batches, spoon 1/6 of the potato mixture into the hot pan and press down to form patties. Repeat with remaining mixture. Cook until golden brown on each side, approximately 3 minutes.
