Seasoned pork chops fried to golden perfection, juicy and flavorful, ready in just 20 minutes.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup vegetable oil for frying
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon seasoning salt, or to taste
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 (3/4 inch) thick pork chops
Instructions:
  • In a generous skillet, warm oil over medium-high heat.
  • Mix flour, seasoning salt, salt, and pepper together in a bag made of paper or plastic.
  • Put the pork chops in the bag and shake them until evenly coated, then remove any extra flour by shaking off.
  • Sear the chops in hot oil until golden brown outside and the juices run clear, about 4 to 5 minutes per side. Use an instant-read thermometer to ensure they reach an internal temperature of at least 145°F (63°C). Let them drain on a wire rack or paper towels before serving.
