Tender pork chops seared, smothered in a mouthwatering BBQ gravy with a zesty kick.
Ingredients:
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound (1/2-inch thick) pork chops
  • kosher salt to taste
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 cup barbeque sauce
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 2 limes, juiced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley, or to taste
Instructions:
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, warm olive oil. Season both sides of pork chops with salt and pepper. Place pork chops in the skillet in a single layer and cook until golden, about 2 to 3 minutes per side.
  • In a bowl, combine barbecue sauce, brown sugar, lime juice, and garlic powder to make the irresistible 'crack' sauce. Pour the sauce over the golden pork chops and bring it to a boil. Lower the heat to medium, cover, and simmer until the pork chops are fully cooked, about 4 to 5 minutes. Finish with a sprinkle of fresh parsley for a beautiful presentation.
