Peanut butter-covered frozen bananas dipped in chocolate, rolled in nuts, and frozen for a delicious chilly treat.
Ingredients:
  • 4 bananas, peeled and halved horizontally
  • 8 ice pop sticks
  • 0.33333334326744 cup peanut butter
  • 1 (8 ounce) package semisweet baking chocolate, chopped
  • 0.5 cup roasted peanuts, chopped
Instructions:
  • Skewer each banana half with an ice pop stick and lay them on a wax paper-lined baking sheet. Freeze for approximately 2 hours until bananas are fully frozen.
  • Take the frozen bananas out of the freezer and generously coat them with creamy peanut butter. Return the peanut butter-coated bananas to the freezer for 30 to 45 minutes until firm.
  • Gently melt the chocolate in a double boiler over simmering water, stir often, and use a rubber spatula to ensure smoothness and prevent burning.
  • Coat each frozen banana in the luscious melted chocolate, ensuring it's completely covered. Roll the chocolate-coated bananas in the crunchy chopped peanuts and arrange them on a baking sheet lined with wax paper. Freeze until the chocolate sets, approximately 1 to 2 hours.
