Indulge in decadent tiramisu ice cream, ready in under 30 minutes with no baking necessary. Serves a crowd of 14 with ease.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup strong coffee (made from instant is fine)
  • 3 tablespoons rum (dark or light)
  • 2 (3 ounce) packages ladyfingers
  • 0.5 gallon coffee ice cream, softened on microwave's defrost setting for 1 minute
  • 4 ounces bittersweet chocolate, coarsely grated
  • 1 (8 ounce) container mascarpone cheese
  • 3 tablespoons coffee flavored liqueur
  • 0.33333334326744 cup half-and-half
Instructions:
  • Combine the coffee and rum together. Line a 2-quart metal loaf pan with plastic wrap, leaving an overhang. Brush the spiked coffee onto the ladyfingers using a pastry brush. Arrange the ladyfingers in the pan, lining the bottom and sides with the rounded side facing outwards.
  • Set aside 1/2 cup of chocolate for garnish, then fold the remaining chocolate into the ice cream. Transfer the ice cream mixture into a loaf pan, pressing it evenly with a rubber spatula. Cover with plastic wrap and freeze for a minimum of 2 hours or up to 5 days.
  • Combine cheese, liqueur, and sugar until velvety smooth. Gently whisk in half-and-half until achieving a luscious, pourable consistency. Unmold dessert from pan using plastic wrap ends, then remove wrap. Slice loaf, generously drizzle with the sauce, and garnish with a sprinkle of chocolate.
