Energizing breakfast smoothie for a tasty and nutritious start to your day.
Ingredients:
  • 250ml (1 cup) reduced-fat milk, soy milk or rice milk
  • 1 free-range egg
  • 1 small banana, peeled, coarsely chopped
  • 40g (1/4 cup) fresh blueberries or frozen blueberries
  • 1 small ripe fig or pitted, peeled peach
  • 10.00 gm almond meal
  • 40.00 ml oat bran
  • 14.40 gm honey or maple syrup
Instructions:
  • Add the milk, egg, banana, blueberries, fig or peach, almond meal, oat bran, honey or maple syrup, and nutmeg to a blender. Blend until smooth, then pour into a serving dish.
