Decadent homemade fudge brownies with a perfect balance of fudge, cake, and chocolate, topped with crunchy nuts.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup butter
  • 4 (1 ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chopped walnuts
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and generously grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  • In a 3-quart saucepan, melt butter and chocolate over very low heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, stir in sugar, and let it cool slightly. Mix in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla. Combine flour and salt and fold into the chocolate mixture. Gently mix in walnuts. Spread batter evenly into the prepared pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow to cool in the pan on a wire rack.
