Indulge in zesty garlic-lime shrimp wrapped in crispy peppered bacon and green chilies, perfect for grilling indoors.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup vegetable oil
  • 0.25 tablespoon lime juice
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 10 cooked medium shrimp, shelled and deveined
  • 5 slices peppered bacon, cut in half
  • 1 (4 ounce) can whole green chili peppers, drained, and sliced lengthwise
  • 1 avocado - peeled, pitted and diced
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges
Instructions:
  • Combine oil, lime juice, garlic, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl and whisk until well combined. Add shrimp to the marinade, then refrigerate for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
  • Prepare your indoor electric grill by preheating it to medium-high heat.
  • Take the shrimp out of the marinade and pat dry. Wrap each shrimp with a chili pepper strip and half a slice of bacon. Secure with a toothpick. Grill until bacon is crispy and shrimp is hot, about 6 to 10 minutes. Sprinkle with diced avocado and garnish with lime wedges before serving.
