Delicious garlic pickled eggs are a perfect snack. For a vibrant twist, swap water with beet juice for red eggs.
Ingredients:
  • 12 large eggs
  • 1 onion, sliced into rings
  • 1 cup distilled white vinegar
  • 10 cloves garlic, peeled
Instructions:
  • In a medium saucepan, gently lay the eggs and cover them with cold water. Bring the water to a boil, then promptly remove from heat. Let the eggs sit in the hot water for 10 to 12 minutes with the lid on. Take the eggs out of the hot water, cool them down, and peel.
  • Layer eggs and onion elegantly in a 1-quart jar.
  • In a medium saucepan, let vinegar, water, garlic, and sugar mingle and come to a boil. Once heated, set aside to cool for about 15 minutes.
  • Cover the eggs with the delicious vinegar mixture, seal with a lid, and let them chill in the fridge for a week before serving.
