Gourmet Gouda and Garlic Baked Red Potatoes.
Ingredients:
  • 3 pounds red potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 6 ounces Gouda cheese, shredded, divided
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1.5 cups heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 325 degrees F (165 degrees C) and give a gentle greasing to a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • In the prepared dish, arrange half of the potatoes followed by half of the cheese, and then the rest of the potatoes.
  • In a small skillet over medium heat, melt the butter until bubbly. Saute the garlic until it becomes fragrant and turns a golden brown color, then generously pour it over the potatoes.
  • Pour the creamy mixture over the potatoes and generously sprinkle with the remaining cheese for added deliciousness.
  • After 75 minutes in the preheated oven, serve piping hot.
