Buttery garlic shrimp linguine with Parmesan, white wine, and fresh parsley.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound uncooked linguine
  • 3 tablespoons white wine
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons grated Parmesan cheese, plus more for serving
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley, plus more for garnish
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 pound medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
Instructions:
  • 1. Boil a pot of salted water. 2. Cook linguine until al dente, roughly 11 minutes. 3. Drain well.
  • In a medium saucepan over medium-low heat, melt butter. Stir in wine, garlic, Parmesan cheese, and parsley. Season with salt and pepper. Simmer and stir occasionally over low heat for 3 to 5 minutes.
  • Turn up the heat to medium-high and add the shrimp to the saucepan. Cook until the shrimp just starts turning pink, about 3 to 4 minutes. Be careful not to overcook.
  • Divide the pasta evenly among 8 bowls. Top each bowl with shrimp and sauce. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and parsley for a finishing touch.
