Try vibrant purple sprouting broccoli with flavorful garlic and nutty sesame seeds for a tasty and effortless side dish.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound purple sprouting broccoli
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons toasted sesame oil
  • 6 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
  • salt to taste
  • 2 teaspoons toasted sesame seeds, or to taste
Instructions:
  • 1. In a large pot, bring generously salted water to a boil. Add broccoli and cook until vibrant green, about 3 to 4 minutes. Drain well.
  • In a large skillet, warm vegetable and sesame oils over medium-low heat. Sauté garlic until lightly browned and fragrant, about 2 to 3 minutes. Add broccoli and stir until coated with garlic-infused oil, about 2 to 3 minutes. Season with salt to taste.
  • Garnish with a sprinkle of sesame seeds before serving.
