Decadent German chocolate cake frosting, warm and gooey, spilled over a freshly baked cake.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 3 egg yolk, beaten with 1 teaspoon water
  • 0.5 cup margarine
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup flaked coconut
Instructions:
  • Combine evaporated milk, sugar, egg yolks, margarine, and vanilla in a large saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until thickened. Remove from heat and mix in pecans and coconut. Spread the warm mixture on the cake.
