Make savory German meat patties with pork, beef, onions, parsley, egg, and hot paprika.
Ingredients:
  • 1 Kaiser roll
  • 0.66666668653488 pound ground beef
  • 0.33333334326744 pound ground pork
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 0.25 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon Hungarian hot paprika
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • Submerge kaiser roll in a bowl of water for 10 minutes until soft. Squeeze out excess water and crumble into a large bowl.
  • Combine ground meats, onion, parsley, egg, paprika, salt, and black pepper with crumbled roll, ensuring ingredients are thoroughly mixed. Form the mixture into sizeable flattened meatballs.
  • Preheat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Cook meatballs until golden brown and cooked through, about 5 minutes on each side. Use an instant-read thermometer to ensure the center reaches 160 degrees F (70 degrees C).
