Family-favorite breakfast dish with French toast flavors, sans bread.
Ingredients:
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1.5 cups white sugar
  • 0.75 cup buttermilk
  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 2 tablespoons light corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) and generously grease a 9x13 inch baking pan with melted butter.
  • In a blender, combine eggs, milk, and flour until velvety. Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan.
  • Bake until golden in a preheated oven for about 20 minutes.
  • Combine sugar, buttermilk, butter, corn syrup, and baking soda in a small saucepan. Boil for 7 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Drizzle over pancake slices.
