Ginger mint tea

Ingredients:
  • 2 black tea tea bags
  • 1000.00 gm boiling water
  • 5cm piece ginger, peeled, thinly sliced
  • 6 large sprigs mint
  • 51.60 gm sweetened condensed milk
  • 500.00 ml ice cubes
Instructions:
  • In a heatproof jug, steep tea bags in boiling water along with ginger and half of the mint. Stir gently and let it brew for 5 minutes. Remove and discard the tea bags before serving.
  • Cool the tea until cold by refrigerating it for at least 4 hours.
  • Combine the condensed milk with the tea, strain, pour over ice, garnish with the rest of the mint leaves, and serve.
