Delicious pear loaf cake bursting with fresh pear, ginger, cloves, and vanilla flavors.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup peeled, cored, and chopped pears
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.33333334326744 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
  • In a large bowl, combine chopped pears with sugar, ginger, and cloves. Leave the mixture to sit until the sugar dissolves, about 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C) and generously grease an 8x4-inch loaf pan.
  • In a bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, salt, and baking powder.
  • Combine the oil, eggs, and vanilla with the pears. Mix in the flour mixture gently until just combined. Transfer the batter to the prepared loaf pan.
  • Bake until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean after about 40 minutes in the preheated oven.
