Quick miso-teriyaki salmon for busy nights.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound king salmon fillets
  • 1 pinch ground black pepper
  • 0.5 cup dark brown sugar
  • 0.25 cup miso paste
  • 2 tablespoons minced ginger
  • 0.25 cup gluten-free soy sauce (tamari), or as needed
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a pie pan with aluminum foil and place the salmon in it, then season it with pepper.
  • In a bowl, combine brown sugar, miso, and ginger. Gradually incorporate soy sauce until a glaze consistency forms. Generously coat the salmon with the glaze.
  • After baking salmon in the center of the preheated oven for 10 minutes, adjust the oven rack to be about 6 inches from the heat source and preheat the broiler.
  • Achieve perfectly flaky salmon with a glistening golden glaze by broiling for 2 to 3 minutes, checking regularly.
