Glazed Fruit-Filled Drop Biscuits

No fuss, no roll, just delicious Danish-inspired biscuits ready in no time!
Ingredients:
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 2/3 cup milk or whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup fruit preserves, any flavor
  • 2 teaspoons warm water
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 450°F. Grease a cookie sheet. Combine Bisquick mix, butter, and granulated sugar in a medium bowl until crumbly. Add milk and mix until dough forms. Beat 15 times.
  • Spoon rounded tablespoonfuls of dough onto a cookie sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart. Use the back of a water-dipped spoon to create a shallow well in the center of each cookie, then fill each well with 1 teaspoon of preserves.
  • Bake until golden brown, about 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Combine all vanilla drizzle ingredients in a small bowl and mix with a spoon until smooth, adding more water if needed. Drizzle over the warm biscuits.
