Gluten-Free Brownie Goody Bars

Decadent gluten-free brownie bars with vanilla frosting, chocolate chips, peanut butter, and Rice Chex® cereal.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Gluten Free Chocolate Brownie Mix
  • Butter and eggs called for on brownie mix box
  • 1 cup from 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Vanilla Frosting (from 1-lb container)
  • 1/2 cup salted peanuts, coarsely chopped
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips (6 oz)
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 1/2 cups Rice Chex™ cereal
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F. Prepare and bake the brownies according to the instructions on the box, using butter, eggs, and the desired pan, but do not line the pan with foil. Allow the brownies to cool completely for about 1 hour before serving.
  • Frost brownies generously and top with a sprinkle of peanuts. Chill in the refrigerator.
  • Place chocolate chips and peanut butter in a medium microwave-safe bowl and microwave on High for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring once, until melted. Mix in the cereal. Spread the mixture over frosted brownies and let it cool completely for about 1 hour. Cut into 4 rows by 4 rows and store tightly covered at room temperature.
