Indulge in decadent gluten-free dark chocolate brownies made with cornstarch for a rich and luscious treat.
Ingredients:
  • 0.75 cup white sugar
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 0.25 cup cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1.25 cups chopped dark chocolate
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) and lightly grease an 8-inch square baking dish.
  • In a large bowl, mix together sugar, butter, and vanilla until smooth and creamy using an electric mixer. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  • In a bowl, whisk together cornstarch, cocoa powder, and salt. Gently sift over the sugar-butter mixture and mix with a wooden spoon until well combined. Add chopped chocolate, let batter stand for 5 minutes, then transfer to the prepared baking dish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for around 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean. Remove from oven and cool completely before cutting into squares, about 15 minutes.
