Gluten-Free Chex™ Cereal Treat Bars

Elevate crispy rice bars with a fun twist. Perfect for on-the-go snacking when wrapped individually.
Ingredients:
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 bag (10 oz) large marshmallows or 4 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 8 cups Rice Chex™ cereal
Instructions:
  • Grease a 13x9-inch (3-quart) baking dish or pan with cooking spray.
  • Place butter in a large microwavable bowl and microwave uncovered on High for about 45 seconds or until melted. Add marshmallows and toss to coat. Microwave for an additional 1 to 1 1/2 minutes. Stir until marshmallows are completely melted and mixture is well blended.
  • Stir in the cereal until well combined. Press the mixture evenly into a baking dish using waxed paper or a cooking spray-coated spatula. Let it cool for 15 minutes, then cut into bars by making 6 rows by 3 rows.
