Deliciously tender baked pork chops smothered in savory mushroom sauce.
Ingredients:
  • 4 (1 1/4 inch thick) pork chops
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 0.75 cup milk
  • 0.25 cup water
  • 1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
Instructions:
  • Prepare all ingredients.
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 350°F (175°C).
  • Season pork chops generously with salt and pepper. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt butter and sear pork chops for 5 minutes on each side.
  • In a separate medium bowl, mix together milk, water, and condensed soup.
  • Place the pork chops neatly in a 9x13-inch baking dish, then generously pour the flavorful soup mixture over them.
  • Bake for 45 minutes in the preheated oven until the center reaches 145°F (63°C).
