Experience a flavorsome Greek meatball burger on warm pita with feta.
Ingredients:
  • 75g olive
  • 375g 4 Star Beef mince
  • 25g breadcrumbs
  • 1 free range egg
  • 20.00 ml fresh oregano, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp lemon rind, finely grated
  • 75g fetta, crumbled
  • 18.20 gm olive oil
  • 140g yoghurt
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 4 pocket pita breads
  • 60g baby rocket
  • 2 roma tomatoes, thickly sliced
Instructions:
  • Finely chop half of the olives. Mix them with the minced meat, breadcrumbs, egg, oregano, lemon rind, and half of the feta in a bowl. Season the mixture and form meatballs using tablespoons of the mixture.
  • In a large frying pan over medium-high heat, sear the meatballs in hot oil, turning occasionally, until they are beautifully golden brown and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the yogurt, garlic, and 1 tablespoon of warm water. Don't forget to season it.
  • Spread pita breads with a generous layer of the delicious yogurt mixture. Add the peppery rocket, fresh tomato, the rest of the creamy feta, the remaining olives, and savory meatballs. Finish with a drizzle of the remaining flavorful yogurt mixture before serving.
