Grilled feta-stuffed beef patties - a tasty twist on traditional burgers, perfect for a change!
Ingredients:
  • 1.3333333730698 pounds ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon plain yogurt
  • 2 teaspoons dried thyme
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 slices feta cheese
Instructions:
  • Prepare the outdoor grill by preheating to medium, indirect heat and lightly oiling the grate.
  • Combine ground beef, creamy yogurt, aromatic thyme, and a dash of salt and pepper in a bowl. Shape the mixture into eight uniform patties, measuring 2 to 3 inches in diameter.
  • Layer a slice of cheese between two patties and carefully seal the edges. Repeat this step with the remaining patties and cheese slices.
  • Place the stuffed patties on the preheated grill over indirect heat, cover, and cook for 15 to 20 minutes until they are no longer pink in the center, the cheese is melted, and an instant-read thermometer inserted into the center reads at least 160 degrees F (70 degrees C).
