Grilled Greek chicken burgers with sun-dried tomatoes, oregano, and a hidden feta cheese center.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 0.5 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons chopped sun-dried tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil
  • 3 teaspoons chopped fresh oregano
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 ounces crumbled feta cheese
Instructions:
  • Get your outdoor grill ready by preheating it to medium-high heat and giving the grate a light coating of oil.
  • Combine chicken, bread crumbs, egg, lemon juice, sun-dried tomatoes, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Shape into 5 patties. Divide feta cheese into 5 portions and place each portion on a patty, folding the chicken mixture around the cheese to seal it inside.
  • Grill patties until cooked through and juices run clear, about 5-7 minutes per side. Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness - it should read 165 degrees F (75 degrees C) in the center.
