Greek Turkey Burgers with Tzatziki Sauce

Elevate your burger with feta, dill, and a creamy cucumber Greek yogurt sauce.
Ingredients:
  • 1 container (6 oz) Greek Fat Free plain yogurt
  • 1/4 cup chopped cucumber
  • 2 tablespoons chopped red onion
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh or 1 teaspoon dried dill weed
  • 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 lb lean ground turkey
  • 1 cup crumbled feta cheese (4 oz)
  • 1/3 cup chopped red onion
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 4 whole wheat burger buns, split
  • 1 medium tomato, thinly sliced
Instructions:
  • Combine 1/2 cup of yogurt with the rest of the sauce ingredients in a small bowl; chill before serving.
  • Preheat gas or charcoal grill. Combine all burger ingredients and the remaining yogurt in a medium bowl. Form the mixture into 4 patties, each about 1/2 inch thick.
  • Grill the patties over medium heat, covered, for 8 to 10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until a meat thermometer inserted in the center reads 160°F. Serve the burgers on buns with tomato slices and sauce on top.
