Tangy salad with sweet onion, crisp green beans, salty feta, and zesty garlic tossed in a variety of vinegars.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 pounds fresh green beans
  • 1 sweet onion, peeled
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 0.5 cup rice wine vinegar
  • 0.5 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 0.33300000429153 cup canola oil
  • 0.75 teaspoon salt
  • ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 dash hot sauce
  • 1 dash Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 ounces feta cheese, crumbled
Instructions:
  • Slice the onion thinly and place in a colander. Boil the cleaned green beans in a large pot of water for about 4 minutes until crisp-tender. Drain the beans over the sliced onions in the colander to soften them slightly. Rinse everything in cold water to halt the cooking.
  • Prepare the dressing by combining garlic, rice wine vinegar, cider vinegar, oil, sugar, salt, pepper, hot sauce, and Worcestershire sauce in a large bowl. Mix in beans, onions, and cheese until well combined. Transfer to a nonreactive container and chill in the fridge for at least 4 hours. Serve and enjoy!
