Ingredients:
  • 1 package (12 oz) fresh green beans
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
  • 1 teaspoon dried marjoram leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Lemon slices, if desired
Instructions:
  • Prepare green beans according to package instructions and then drain.
  • In a 2-quart saucepan, melt butter over medium heat until golden brown. Remove from heat and quickly mix in lemon zest, marjoram, and salt. Drizzle over beans and toss gently to coat. Finish with a garnish of fresh lemon slices.
