Upgrade classic green bean casserole with zesty orange and fragrant rosemary for a quick, festive, and healthy twist in just 30 minutes.
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 lb fresh green beans
  • 1/4 cup orange marmalade
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh rosemary leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
Instructions:
  • In a 4-quart Dutch oven, bring water and garlic to a boil over medium-high heat. Add beans, cover, and simmer over medium heat for about 15 minutes until tender. Drain, if needed.
  • Combine marmalade, rosemary, cornstarch, and salt in a small bowl. Mix into beans along with butter. Simmer over medium heat until boiling, stirring occasionally.
