Enhance cake batter with matcha for a vibrant green tea cake.
Ingredients:
  • 1 tablespoon honey, or to taste
  • 0.75 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon green tea powder (matcha)
  • 0.25 cup cold water
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) for a perfect bake.
  • In a large bowl, beat eggs with an electric mixer on medium speed until fluffy, about 7 minutes. Add sugar, honey, flour, baking powder, green tea powder, and water in that order, beating briefly after each addition. Transfer batter to a 9-inch cake pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
